Revenue Accounting System Implementation

Data Chart

FACT:

When airlines are in the process of migrating to a new Revenue Accounting (RA) system, they must continue to capture and process sales and interline data to be uploaded to their existing RA system.

While involved in the protracted process of implementing a new RA system, airlines are often circumspect about launching the InterArc “Lost Revenue Recovery Service”, usually citing concerns over a lack of human resources”.

Ironically it is this very reason that, during implementation of a new RA system, frequently causes the same airlines to fall behind with their internal processes. In the RA environment this quickly translates to the inability to properly monitor and validate interline billings and consequently the acceptance of over-billings. Even worse, an airline that falls behind the time-limits imposed by the ICH, may carry interline passengers without “collecting” their corresponding portion of the airfare!

SOLUTION:

Partnering with InterArc's “Lost Revenue Recovery Service” will help ease the airline through the new RA system implementation phase. All this takes is the provision to InterArc of a “copy” of the data the carrier uploads to its existing RA system.

Taking this simple step makes InterArc an extension of the airline's Revenue Accounting processes as we search out your lost revenues. As the chart below demonstrates, all InterArc requires is the same data the airline must continue to process during the switch-over phase. Simply send us a copy of your data and transfer the migration pains to InterArc, while you concentrate on implementing your new RA system and training your staff in its proper use.

InterArc can provide either a 1st or 2nd revision based on a “finder’s fee” while your airline is in the process of transitioning RA systems to assist in the discovery of over-billings. InterArc can provide a “migration package” while in the process of migrating RA systems. Contact us for further details!

Don’t leave your interline revenues “buried forever” because of a system migration! InterArc will dig deeper on your behalf!
